The physician you call “Doc”

Matthew V. Speicher, DO, MBA, FACEP

A Bethesda native and Georgetown Prep alumnus, Dr. Speicher graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and spent 24 years serving in the Navy. His career took him from combat missions as a Naval Flight Officer to emergency medicine, special operations deployments, and leadership at Walter Reed. He served three and a half years as a White House physician across two administrations before coming home to build Anchor Point.

As a Naval Flight Officer, he saw the value of a trusted Flight Surgeon—the “Doc” who understood the individual, the mission, and often the family. That familiarity mattered as much as clinical judgment.

Anchor Point brings that relationship home: a deliberately small practice with time to listen, understand your household, and stay involved as needs change. When something important happens, you should know exactly who to call.
